Head of State points out gains in fight against impunity

Luanda, ANGOLA, October 15 - The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, said on Monday that in the first year of mandate his Executive managed to put a halt to and annul some of the bad practices that caused strong damages to state asset and public interest. ,

 

Speaking at the National Assembly, in the ceremony that marks the opening of the 2018/2019 legislative year, President João Lourenço admitted that the results of the measures taken so far by his Executive are not yet properly being felt by all because they need time.

 

The Head of State assured that he will continue to focus on the fight against impunity.

 

João Lourenço then revealed that he envisages an Angola, in the coming years, that will become a reference, within and outside Africa, in terms of transparency, development and wellbeing of its citizens.
