ESL Teachers Needed in Italy under US Army Contract

Five-year Contracting Opportunity

Vincenza, Italy, Jan. 12, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

The US Army is currently seeing English as a Second Language (ESL) instructors for a military complex in Vincenza, Italy where troops are stationed. The service would provide ESL classes to adult students for five hours per week for a minimum of one year starting in April 2018, with a possibility to extend the contract until 2023. Interested contractors should submit pricing quotes to provide the service by February 12, 2018.

The instructor should be proficient in English as well as Italian to be considered for the position. Non-price factors that will be used to make a determination are whether or not the contractor holds a bachelor’s degree and has at least two years’ experience assisting or teaching adult students. Price quotes will reflect hours spent working.

The ESL instructor who wins the contract needs to be able to accomplish the following tasks during the period of performance. In addition to the basic requirement of being present in class for five hours per week, they also need to develop an end of course test, provide a quality control plan and maintain confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of Army personnel's service.

No email submissions will be accepted for this solicitation and all required materials must be mailed on a CD or DVD to the contracting officer in Italy at Camp Ederle (Caserma Ederle). For complete information, offerors can find the full solicitation on FBO.gov or on the Advanced Procurement Portal from US Federal Contractor Registration at uscontractorregistration.com.

USFCR also pioneered the Advanced Procurement Portal (APP) which ties together a live feed of government opportunities with a list of active federal buyers and vendors. APP trains its users to submit the best possible bids and encourages relationship building with its easy-to-use CRM. This service is perfect for businesses, organizations, institutions and agencies that are new to government contracting and lack resources, or are well-established in the federal sector and looking for further efficiency.
